Innovative Bass Player Ranaan Meyer Plays Yamaha
INDIANAPOLIS (PRWEB) October 22, 2015 -- Yamaha announced that bass player Ranaan Meyer has joined the Yamaha Artist roster. He plays an SVB-200 Silent Bass, which delivers resonant tone in a compact design.
Busy in many different endeavors centered on performance and music education, Meyer co-founded the innovative string trio Time for Three. He is also the founder of The Education We All Deserve Foundation, The World That We All Deserve Through Music, Next Level Journals, Ranaan Meyer Entertainment and Ranaan Meyer Publishing.
He serves as Artist in Residence with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Sun Valley Summer Symphony. His artistic director duties include The Education We All Deserve Through Music, Wabass Camps and Charley Creek Arts Festival. In addition to being awarded a Gold Record for playing bass on Michael Jackson’s final album Xscape, he won an Emmy Award for “Time for Three Live! With the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.” He has performed at prestigious concert halls and several programs and events, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Royal Albert Hall, the Sydney Opera House, Aspen Music Festival, the Hollywood Bowl, Ravinia, the Capital Lawn, the Indianapolis 500, National Football League games and Dancing With the Stars.
