Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 22, 2015
There are many families with special needs and disabled children throughout America that struggle to provide the medical, financial and emotional needs of their loved ones.
Entrepreneurs and community activists came together in Atlanta, GA in October 2015 at the annual Live Your Legacy Summit. The gathering was in support of 3 yr. old Abigail Haynes in her struggle with Venous Malformations.
Abigail’s mother was so touched as their struggle has been long and hard. It is amazing when like-minded leaders come together for change. Abigail, her parents, and three siblings live in the Atlanta area. Other famous parents who deal with a child with special needs are Sylvester Stallone, Toni Braxton and Colin Farrell.
Among those who gave of their time and talent for such a worthy cause were: The founder and host of Live Your Legacy Summit was Emmy award winning, Aurea McGarry; Shellie Hunt, CEO of The Women Of Global Change and Success is by Design; 5 time best selling author Jack Daniels; Linda Clemons, celebrity body language expert; Dawn Brolin CPA, MSA, celebrity endorsed “rock star“ of accounting and humorist; Sheri Riley, Founder of Exponential Living; Mary Vidarte, author of “Payday2Profits”, keynote speaker & corporate trainer. Mary Vidarte said, “I am a mother myself and my son’s welfare motivates my life. I feel for Abigail’s mother and all parents with special needs children and as an expert in my field, I am honored to be asked to serve.”
In addition to the summit activities were The Aurea Hope awards that were presented to business and thought leaders who donated their time and expertise to make a difference in their business, communities and charities.
