The Institute of Finance and Management has announced the rebranding and relaunch of its most popular network. The Network recently known as The Accounts Payable Network (TAPN) is now the AP & P2P Network. An all-new member site,, offers a more modern look and user experience, along with critical enhancements to functionality.

“AP and P2P have evolved at breakneck speed over the past decade,” says Brian Cuthbert, Executive Director of IOFM. “The content TAPN provided was always keeping pace, and now with the new Network, the site’s look and functionality are keeping pace, too.”

In addition to a sleek and modern new look, the new site features improved navigation, stronger search, and account management tools to monitor membership status and recent purchases. There are also new additions that members have been asking for: a Favorites feature to save frequently used tools and articles; related content suggestions to make it easy to dive deep into a topic; and a searchable Ask the Expert feature to find fast answers to common queries.

The new network name also reflects a commitment to developing more content for companies working in – or working toward – a procure-to-pay process.

“For organizations of a certain size, if you’re not already moving toward P2P, you soon will be,” says Rob Rogers, Director of Membership and Certification Content for IOFM. “This is where the future of payables is headed, and the AP & P2P Network will be at the forefront of procure-to-pay thought leadership.”

Rogers and his editorial team continue to build a breadth and depth of P2P resources, and P2P content will play an important role at next week’s conference, the AP & P2P Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, and at the 2016 events.

Visitors can explore the new site, access free resources on automation, shop for compliance training materials, and enroll in certification programs at Only members of the AP & P2P Network have access to the Network’s full complement of metrics, tools and resources, including calculators, templates, compliance updates, members-only discussion forums, and Ask the Expert.

A similar relaunch will follow for IOFM’s receivables resource, The AR Network (TARN), in early 2016.

The Institute of Finance and Management was acquired by Diversified Communications in 2013, and in turn, IOFM quickly acquired the Financial Operations Network (FON), including The Accounts Payable Network (TAPN) and The Accounts Receivable Network (TARN). This merger made IOFM the most comprehensive portfolio of resources for financial operations professionals, and the support of parent company Diversified Communications has facilitated key investments in content and infrastructure.

IOFM and FON merged their operations and their Accounts Payable events in 2014. Following successful spring and fall events this year, dates for next year’s biannual conferences have just been announced: the Spring AP & P2P Conference & Expo will be held in Orlando at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, May 23-25, 2016; the fall AP & P2P Conference & Expo will be held in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace, October 24-26, 2016.

IOFM and FON have operated a joint certification program since 2003, which has since grown to enroll nearly 20,000 candidates worldwide and continues to be one of IOFM’s most recognized and respected training resources. IOFM will launch a new P2P Certification program in the second quarter of 2016 in support of the Network’s expanded focus on procure-to-pay.
