Church buildings are not just for Sundays any more. We need to utilize our buildings more effectively to reach the community 7 days a week.

Building God's Way (BGW), a national leader in church design and construction that offers a broad network of other services to ministry-based organizations, will be hosting a free half-day seminar for church leaders at OKC Faith Church in Oklahoma City, OK on Wednesday, November 4.

Church leaders throughout the region will be attending the “REAL Church Buildings Seminars” to learn about a paradigm shift in the way church buildings are designed, constructed, funded and used.

The featured speakers for the event will be award-winning church architect Don Mahoney; pastor & author Eric Bahme, host pastor & author Terry Bates, and best-selling author & inspirational speaker, Dr. Stan Toler. The seminar will be followed by a book signing event that will also include information on how church leaders can easily and cost-effectively publish their own books.

Don Mahoney has one of the most extensive backgrounds in church, school and performing arts architecture, designing prominent facilities all across the U.S. throughout a 30 year career. As a partner architect for Building God’s Way, Don has become a leader in the field of faith-based architecture and has been recognized with a number of national design awards, including multiple WFX Solomon Awards for Best Church Architect, Best Church Design, Best Special Project and Best Digital Church. Don is also a recipient of the LCEF Arts & Architecture Award for Best Liturgical Design.

Eric Bahme is a cutting edge entrepreneur, a passionate preacher, and the author of the book, “The MBE (Mission-Based Entrepreneur) Revolution: Developing Economic Engines that Drive Mission-based Movements”. Eric has spent his life infusing his love for the Lord into his passion for entrepreneurship. The success stories shared in this book of integrating for-profit models in churches have been featured in a number of national publications and on television broadcasts.

Terry Bates is the Senior Pastor of the host church, OKC Faith Church in Oklahoma City. During more than 30 years of ministry, Terry has coached and trained hundreds of churches around the world on the principles from his book entitled “Positioning your Church.” He has also personally pastored three churches to incredible turnaround growth and has served as a trainer for Dr. John Maxwell’s Million Leader Mandate, in which he was actively involved in training over 250,000 church leaders. Terry is also an expert capital campaign consultant and has worked with churches nationwide to successfully raise funds utilizing the comprehensive Momentum program.

Stan Toler is a dynamic international speaker, bestselling author, and compassionate teacher. He has spoken in 80 countries and shared the platform with Zig Ziglar, Rick Warren, Bill Hybels and many others. A prolific writer, Toler has authored more than 100 books. Bestsellers include The Secret Blend, The Relational Leader, The Exceptional Leader, ReThink Your Life, Total Quality Life, and his popular Minute Motivator series.
