Anaheim BIM Workshop Builds on Last Year’s Momentum With a Successful 2015 Event
Newport Beach, California (PRWEB) October 27, 2015 -- The Pacific Coast BIM Workshop returned for its second year to Anaheim, CA on October 1st and 2nd. The two-day event was hosted once again by U.S. CAD, a local BIM consultant and Autodesk Platinum Partner.
Over 110 attendees from more than 60 companies arrived in Anaheim, California for two days dedicated to training and discussion on topics such as BIM, architecture, structural engineering, construction, and more. The event’s success was bolstered by an impressive speaker line-up that included Brian Mackey, Tom Whitehead, Steven Shell, Paul Aubin, Robert Bell, and Steve Stafford. Lynn Allen, the popular Autodesk Technical Evangelist, resided as the event emcee while Anthony Hauck, Director of Product Strategy at Autodesk, gave the keynote speech.
“The success of the 2015 Pacific Coast BIM Workshop highlights the growing demand for BIM education and collaboration,” states Jeff Rachel, Vice President of U.S. CAD. “The industry faces many business and technology challenges, and the BIM Workshops is the perfect forum for collective brainstorming and sharing about how to improve process efficiencies and software utilization.”
In addition to the breakout sessions, hands-on labs, and keynote presentation, the Pacific Coast BIM Workshop featured several opportunities for networking and engagement directly with the event speakers and sponsors.
The BIM Workshops will return to Southern California in 2016; dates, locations, and other event details will be announced online at http://www.bim-workshops.com.
About the BIM Workshops
The BIM Workshops events started with the Central States Revit Workshop in 2012. The continued success of the Workshop, along with the technical community’s positive feedback, prompted a multi-event expansion and a re-branding to the name BIM Workshops. Hosted by U.S. CAD, the Workshops were created originally to connect local users with national, regional, and local industry speakers and leaders. For many users, the Workshops continue to be the most cost-effective opportunity to get training in Autodesk software and to learn from and network with their industry leaders and peers.
