Success of the Inaugural Phoenix BIM Workshop Prompts Event’s Return to Arizona in 2016

The one-day technology and networking event attracted an audience of 80+, including nationally-recognized speakers and users from the Phoenix BIM and CAD community

The Phoenix BIM Workshop, a one-day user and technology conference, concluded on October 15th with overwhelmingly positive reactions from the first-time attendees.

Hosted by U.S. CAD, a BIM consultant and Autodesk Platinum Partner, the Workshop kicked off with the ever-popular Lynn Allen, Autodesk Technical Evangelist, as emcee and John Kizior, Corporate Director for Delivery Solutions at AECOM, as the keynote speaker. Similar to the its sister events, the Phoenix BIM Workshop speaker line-up included familiar names like Robert Bell, Steven Shell, Steve Stafford, and Paul Aubin presenting a schedule of 16 different session options. The breakout sessions encouraged interaction and discussions around strategies for effective software utilization and BIM process improvements. Attendees also benefited from unique hands-on lab sessions, offering an opportunity to practice what they learn.

The BIM Workshops events started with the Central States Revit Workshop in 2012. The continued success of the Workshop, along with the technical community’s positive feedback, prompted a multi-event expansion and a re-branding to the name BIM Workshops.
