Dr. Michael Olenick Named Mr. July and All Around Good Guy
Van Nuys, CA (PRWEB) November 02, 2015 -- On Saturday, October 10th at The Japanese Garden, the National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC) of the San Fernando Valley recognized eleven remarkable women and one good guy. Child Care Resource Center’s (CCRC) President & CEO Michael Olenick was the one good guy.
The National Women's Political Caucus (NWPC) is a multicultural, intergenerational, and multi-issue grassroots organization dedicated to increasing women’s participation in the political process and creating a true women’s political power base to achieve equality for all women.
“I am deeply honored that the National Women’s Political Caucus of the San Fernando Valley has included me as the one good guy with this group of remarkable women. One of my goals, both personally and professionally, is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to be successful in school and life. Part of CCRC’s responsibilities in the community is to work with parents on how to advocate for their children and understand that their voice is important. We appreciate the unwavering support of the Democratic Party in fighting for hard working women and men and their children,” expressed Olenick.
Serving as CCRC’s President & CEO since 2004, Dr. Olenick is responsible for all programs, projects, and services provided to over 40,000 children, families and child care providers each month in a service area spanning 22,500 square miles. For more than three decades, Michael has served on numerous boards and committees at the county, state and national level. He is the immediate Past President of both Child Care Aware of America and the California Child Care Resource & Referral Network (CCRRN).
