It’s always an honor to be asked to speak at such events, to the top doctors in the industry, about how they can navigate the often turbulent currents of cyberspace.

Robert Baxter, founder and CEO of the plastic surgery digital marketing firm Surgeon’s Advisor, will discuss the changes in the Internet landscape and its effects on the cosmetic surgery industry at the Global Aesthetics Conference, Oct. 28-Nov. 1, 2015 in Miami Beach, FL.

“It’s always an honor to be asked to speak at such events, to the top doctors in the industry, about how they can navigate the often turbulent currents of cyberspace,” commented Baxter, who has been a recognized expert in the field of digital marketing for over 14 years, specializing in the aesthetic and healthcare industries. “The Internet has changed how it operates in so many ways that the techniques that made a site successful even 3 to 4 years ago can be rendered obsolete. We’ve had to evolve alongside of the changes, and it’s a pleasure for me to help surgeons implement strategies that can help their practice succeed.”

The Global Aesthetics Conference has as its aim continuing medical education, with over 40 hours of training sessions. The key organizers, Renato Saltz, MD and S. Randolph Waldman, MD have put together over fifty aesthetic meetings in the United States and abroad over the past twenty years, and the conference attendee list boasts some of the most respected surgeons in the world.

The conference also offers advanced Practice Management, from business tips to marketing ideas; as part of this effort, Baxter will speak about multiple topics including: ‘What’s Changed Now? News You Need to Know for Your Website’, ‘Around the World - Views of the Web’, ‘Website Makeovers -- Your Quick-Hit Plan’, and ‘Raging Reviews: Handling Online Criticism’.

“Each of the themes I want to talk about with the doctors couldn’t be more timely nor relevant,” said Baxter. “With all of the nerve-wracking shifts in the online marketing world, there are also phenomenal opportunities. Each local practice has the chance to reach out to a global market, and we see this more every day. The design of the website they find can determine whether they contact you or not, and the reviews they find about you most definitely shape their first impression about you. Another doctor’s site is just a click away.”
