"Voices In America", with Host James Earl Jones, Produces a New Segment on Cancer Treatment for Public Television

According to the National Cancer Institute, when an individual is diagnosed with cancer and depending on the type they are diagnosed with, there are many types of treatments. Some may only have to have one type of treatment, but others may use a combination of those below:

• Chemotherapy
• Immunotherapy
• Target Therapy
• Hormone Therapy
• Stem Cell Transplant
This episode of Voices In America will go in-depth and behind the scenes to look at what steps researchers and physicians in the medical field use to find new ways to treat cancer. The piece will look significant milestones achieved throughout past history and speak with specialists and researchers to understand how close they are in finding new and enhanced ways to fight particular types of cancer as well as steps for prevention. The segment will also speak with cancer patients who are currently going through treatment options to hear about their experiences and what they would change or do differently if given the chance.
