DuVine Cycling + Adventure Co. was recognized by France’s national tourism organization, ATOUT France, as the Best Regional Tour Operator of 2015. The award was given on October 18, 2015 at ATOUT France’s annual French Affairs gala. This marks the second year in a row an active travel company has taken home this award. According to a report from Global Spa and Wellness Summit, wellness tourism has been growing at 13% in recent years, and it is clear France has taken notice of this trend with their selection.
“We are honored to accept this award, and we feel very grateful for the support that our partners at ATOUT France have given us over the past 20 years of leading bike tours in France,” says DuVine president and founder Andy Levine. “To be acknowledged as one of the best by those who represent France tourism is quite an honor.”
Each year, ATOUT France organizes a two-day French Affairs conference to promote synergy between U.S. tour operators and French partners. The event hosts more than 150 travel industry professionals from the U.S. and France and kicks off with a banquet and award ceremony. DuVine has been recognized in previous years for Best Special Interest Product and Most Creative Tour Operator on Social Media Network.
2015 has been an award-winning year for DuVine. Outside Magazine awarded DuVine guide Arien Torsius with the honor of being Best Cycling Guide in March, and SHAPE Magazine’s November Issue recognized DuVine as Best Biking Getaway in their 2015 Healthy Travel Awards.
