The Boomer Esiason Foundation Launches “Cups for a Cure” with Partner Brax LTD.
Wilmington, N.C. (PRWEB) October 28, 2015 -- The Boomer Esiason Foundation (BEF) has launched “Cups for a Cure” with longtime partner BRAX LTD., the Wilmington-based organization committed to providing high-quality products for fundraising programs. BEF will raise funds to support their mission of heightening awareness, education and the quality of life for those affected by cystic fibrosis through the online sale of BRAX’s patented cups. The campaign will run until December 15, 2015.
Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening, chronic disease that affects one’s lungs and digestive system. Caused by a defective gene, the body produces unusually thick mucus that clogs the lungs leading to infection, or obstructs the pancreas stopping natural enzymes from helping the body process food.
Research efforts towards finding a cure have advanced treatments dramatically over the past decade, but more research is required in order to find a cure. Founded in 1993, The Boomer Esiason Foundation seeks to provide funding for this research in addition to offering resources and support to those battling the disease.
Individuals who would like to support the cystic fibrosis community can purchase their “Cups for a Cure” until December 15. Drinkware is available as a 4-pack of SpiritCups or 2-pack of SpiritTravelCups. 40% of the sale price will go directly to the Boomer Esiason Foundation.
Not only are BRAX’s durable cups BPA-free, made in the U.S.A and dishwasher safe, they are the only cups in the industry officially licensed by the NFL, MLB, NHL, more than 100 colleges and universities, and the five branches of the U.S. military. Packs of SpiritCups and SpiritTravelCups are available with any of the available logos.
