It is a great opportunity for more schools to access the proven life-saving technology that Prepared Response offers.
Whitewater, WI (PRWEB) October 27, 2015
CESA Purchasing has partnered with Prepared Response, Inc.®, a Washington State based technology company, to offer the Badger State Sheriffs’ Association (BSSA) Rapid Responder Program to all Wisconsin K12 schools across the state. The BSSA Rapid Responder Program is designed to be used jointly by emergency responders and school administrators, providing increased emergency preparedness and a more cohesive response during any type of incident.
Rapid Responder is the technology behind the BSSA program and is an all-hazards site-based crisis management system which provides school administrators and first responder’s instant access to site specific emergency response information. Information includes floor plans, aerial views, site maps, hazardous material locations, utility shut off information, emergency and evacuation plans, and live camera feed.
“By partnering with CESA Purchasing, the BSSA Rapid Responder Program can now be offered to every school in Wisconsin,” says Tobey Bryant, Chief Executive Officer for Prepared Response. “It is a great opportunity for more schools to access the proven life-saving technology that Prepared Response offers and to have another state partner for our company. Prepared Response is growing rapidly and our partnership with CESA Purchasing is confirmation of that.”
CESA Purchasing is a cooperative purchasing program that Wisconsin schools can utilize at no cost. By using CESA Purchasing to implement the BSSA Rapid Responder Program, Wisconsin schools are guaranteed a valuable resource for the best price and a local contract that is fully supported by the Badger State Sheriffs’ Association. CESA Purchasing works diligently to assist organizations to quickly and easily obtain needed programs, like Rapid Responder. They also create visibility within Wisconsin and facilitate the conversion about safety, security and other important educational issues for schools by offering webinars within the state.
“We are excited about partnering with Prepared Response, Inc. to give schools access to the BSSA Rapid Responder Program through CESA on a statewide basis,” says Dr. Joan Wade, Chief Education Officer for CESA 6. “Rapid Responder is a place where law enforcement and school administrators can go to get the answers they need to keep all students safe at all times. It’s a great opportunity for schools to get value for the limited resources that they currently have available.”
