CSU-Global to Award Up To $3 Million in Scholarships to Colorado Students This Fall

(PRWEB) October 28, 2015 -- Colorado State University-Global Campus has become a global leader in providing online education opportunities with students in all U.S. states and territories and in over 50 countries. With the Go Colorado Scholarship, eligible Colorado residents who start in classes at CSU-Global for the first time in either the November 9, 2015 or December 7, 2015 terms will receive funding to cover $65 per credit hour for 36 undergraduate credits or 18 graduate credits toward their degree.
The scholarship is designed to promote student success based on CSU-Global’s analyses of its past student retention and completion data. The first phase of the scholarship begins after undergraduate students have completed their first nine credits with CSU-Global or after graduate students have completed their first six credits. At that time, the scholarship is applied to the student’s next 24 undergraduate credits or next 12 graduate credits. At both degree levels, students receive the second phase of the scholarship as they near completion of their respective programs—the final 12 credits for undergraduate students or the final six credits for graduate students. It’s a way for the university to help keep students motivated until they reach their goal of degree completion.

This scholarship furthers that commitment of making quality, career-relevant degrees affordable while working to create a more educated Colorado.”
CSU-Global has set aside $3 million to give back to Coloradans through this scholarship program so any state resident who meets the eligibility requirements should be able to receive this award.
