THINK Together Names Kelly Kannwischer Chief Engagement Officer
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA (PRWEB) October 27, 2015 -- THINK Together, the largest educational nonprofit in California, announced that Kelly Kannwischer has been named to the newly created role of Chief Engagement Officer. Kannwischer will engage corporations, foundations, individuals and their communities in the organization’s work to realize educational excellence and equity for all kids.

Kelly will lead brand management, marketing and communications, fundraising, strategic partnerships, and external relations. Kelly will participate in crafting the next generation strategic plan as THINK Together continues to develop innovative programs and services to support learning.
For the last five years, Kelly has served Vanguard University as Vice President of University Advancement and, more recently, as Vice President for Administration and Public Affairs. In her five years at Vanguard, Kelly led a comprehensive strategy to promote the brand and secure resources to fund the university’s present and future including a successful capital campaign to renovate and expand an academic building.
Reflecting on her appointment, Kannwischer said, “The story of THINK Together is the best kind of triumph – working together with parents, schools and the community to give all of our kids their best chance at success. Kannwischer’s career as a non-profit consultant and executive spans more than fifteen years and has earned her a reputation as a values driven leader, clear communicator, and board development specialist. Serving as a consultant with RSI and Ketchum, she led and participated in campaigns for clients including World Vision, the Flight 93 Memorial, and the Archdiocese of Chicago. A graduate of the University of Virginia, she is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Paterson Center certified StratOp facilitator, and accredited Insights practitioner.
