It is an honor to be named ‘Best Local Online Shopping’ site by PHOENIX Magazine.
Scottsdale, Arizona (PRWEB) October 27, 2015
PHOENIX Magazine, a lifestyle magazine with a circulation of 350,723 readers, has been serving the Metropolitan Phoenix area for over 50 years. The magazine highlights local events, companies, and citizens, in addition to providing a yearly ‘Best of the Valley’ guide, with categories that include, Shopping & Services, Food & Drink, People & Media, and Fashion.
PHOENIX Magazine named Scott's Marketplace as ‘Best Local Online Shopping’ site in its ‘Best of the Valley’ picks for 2015. Scott’s Marketplace seeks to change the notion that shopping local is limited solely to an individual’s hometown. Consumers are able to shop local stores across the country on Scott’s Marketplace, making it easy to support local, independent businesses on a regular basis.
In October of 2015, Scott’s Marketplace added a functionality that allows visitors and online shoppers to search for local stores by state. This gives consumers the option to select a home state or check out local stores in neighboring states from coast to coast. There are no limitations on where a visitor can choose to shop local stores for items that include holiday décor, unique scarves, handmade candles, trendy jewelry and specialty foods like gourmet marshmallows.
Scott Curry, founder and CEO of Scott’s Marketplace, said, “It is an honor to be named ‘Best Local Online Shopping’ site by PHOENIX Magazine. We’ve worked hard to provide shoppers with a more convenient way to support local businesses, and it’s great to hear that we have the support from our community.”
