Powerblanket® 400 Industrial Heating Solutions Hit the Market
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) November 12, 2015 -- Powerblanket recently added an exciting new product line to their solutions family. The Powerblanket® 400™ industrial heating blanket offers new high-temperature heating capabilities for industries that need extreme heat application.
Powerblanket 400 heating blankets are able to reach temperatures as high as, wait for it, 400° F! The wattage for the heating surface of these blankets has been bolstered to 300 watts per square foot of surface area, allowing for increased heat transfer throughout the entire application. These blankets offer high-powered, high-temperature heating for jobs that need oven-like temperatures. As with other Poweblanket models, the new Powerblankte 400 blankets come in both 120 volt and 240 volt models. The Powerblanket 400 band heaters are the safe and efficient alternative to traditional silicone band heaters, and the Powerblanket 400 custom options allow for a tailored approach to your specific project.
The Powerblanket proprietary blend of technology has long set it apart from any competition, and now, with the Powerblanket 400 product in the arsenal, the company has added to their innovative approach to heating solutions. Using high-efficiency aluminum heat-spreading technology, Powerblanket 400 heating blankets offer increased heat density and a completely even distribution of heat.
“Powerblanket 400 heating blankets have opened doors that were once closed to us,” said Nate Evans, Marketing Director at Powerblanket. “The level of heat needed in epoxy curing for the aerospace industry is something that’s been just out of reach for us. But with Powerblanket 400, we’re now ready and able to serve that industry and others like it.”
Add to all of this the fact that these new models also come with a silicone-coated, 2nd generation fiberglass shell and you have a very impressive heating solution, indeed. These fiberglass shells are both extremely durable and flame resistant. Other silicon heat solutions are known to be somewhat unsafe in hazardous conditions, but Powerblanket 400 heaters are far safer than your typical silicone heaters. Since they’re insulated, there’s no risk of burns or flames if they’re touched by a hand or an unexpected spark. All these features make these blankets ideal for resin curing, welding conditioning, manufacturing processes, and much more.
Powerblanket will be showcasing their new technology at this year's CAMX show, running from October 27th through the 29th. CAMX will be held in Dallas, TX this year at the Dallas Convention Center on 650 S. Griffin St. Powerblanket and their showcase will be found at booth# ZB67.
