The MCR-B043 supports a wide array of both streaming and traditional music sources. Bluetooth® connectivity allows for wireless music streaming from iPhone®, iPad®, and Android™ phones and tablets. It also supports playback of CDs, AM/FM radio, and MP3s from USB memory sticks. An aux-in jack enables computers or music players to be connected to further expand its source compatibility. The model’s USB port also provides a convenient way to charge a mobile device.

The MCR-B043 boasts ample 4½-inch drivers with large-diameter magnets in each of its speakers to deliver rich bass, clear midrange, and lively highs. The speakers’ large cabinets act like bass drums to further help produce deep and robust low-frequency sound. The speakers can be placed together with the main unit for a sleek look or separated to fill a room with a larger sound field. Compressed Music Enhancer, an exclusive Yamaha technology, restores the audio quality of compressed music files such as MP3s.
The MCR-B043 is loaded with convenient features, including a clock display, alarm, sleep timer and headphone jack for personal listening. It also comes with a remote control.
