Velocity Credit Union recently broke ground on their new branch in Cedar Park. Velocity’s newest location will open in early 2016 and will be located on the corner of Highway 183-A and New Hope Drive.
“The Cedar Park area has exploded with growth in recent years, and we want to be convenient to our members in that burgeoning area,” said Debbie Mitchell, Velocity president and CEO. “We are excited about introducing an updated business model to our members, as well as the Cedar Park population in general.”
The New Hope branch is slated to be approximately 4,000 square feet with two ATMs and three drive-thru lanes. The branch will have access from both 183-A and New Hope Drive. The new interior design will feature a contemporary look and open concept including “dialog towers” (or pods) that are more adaptable for various member needs, along with a tech bar, flexible meeting space and more innovative ATMs.
