ArtFields® is delighted to announce the addition of three New Exhibition Awards to the already life-changing $110,000 in cash prizes awarded to artists during the competition and festival, which runs from April 22 - 30, 2016. Two of the new exhibition awards are sponsored by the Jones-Carter Gallery. The third award is sponsored by The Florence Regional Arts Alliance. These prizes will be awarded by the sponsors and will be selected from amongst all accepted competition artists.

The Jones-Carter Gallery Exhibition Awards will be divided into two categories, The Bloom Award for an Emerging Artist will be presented to an artist who maybe a recent BFA or MFA graduate, or who has had no formal training, and is new to the art scene in the Southeast. The Roots Award for an Established Artist will be presented to an artist who has had a solo exhibition in his or her career, and is established either in the Southeast, nationally or internationally. Both prizes are exhibition awards to be exhibited separately at the Jones-Carter Gallery. The Jones-Carter Gallery is a state-of-the-art exhibition gallery which hosts local to major international artists.

The Solo Exhibition Award presented by the Florence Regional Arts Alliance will be awarded to an accepted competition artist and will exhibit June 28 – October 2, 2016 at the Florence County Museum’s Waters Gallery.

Submissions are currently open for ArtFields 2016 and will close on November 13, 2015 at 11:59 PM.
