Public Relations Society of America, Los Angeles Chapter (PRSA-LA) has named Marketing Maven a finalist for the 51st-Annual PRism Awards.

For the third consecutive year, LA PR firm Marketing Maven was named a finalist for a PRism Award from PRSA-LA. This year the campaign submitted was for client Woof Washer 360 and was titled “Woof Washer Makes a Splash.” Marketing Maven was named a finalist in the New Product Launch (under $15,000 Launch budget) category.

“Receiving this honor for three consecutive years is a testament to our creativity, the trust our clients have in us and our skilled team who execute stellar, measurable results. Marketing Maven was brought on to the Woof Washer 360 campaign to aid in the product launch and support the media testing with social media development and management. With their understanding of the product category and expertise in executing social campaigns, Marketing Maven produced a campaign with an overall CPM of $0.02 and a ROI of $24 to $1.

During the first week of the campaign, Marketing Maven created a launch strategy that centered on what they believed to be the strongest selling tool, the DRTV infomercial video footage. Due to the nature of the product and the traditionally high Facebook engagement for pet products, Marketing Maven uploaded a shortened demonstration video, produced by Concepts TV, that was under one minute in length to Facebook. The video excluded any call-to-action overlays (supers) or voiceovers.

Each year, the Public Relations Society of America receives hundreds of entries from agencies, corporate, nonprofit and independent public relations professionals in the Greater Los Angeles area. PRSA-LA PRism Awards program recognizes excellence in communication through strategic and tactical public relations programs and materials. Marketing Maven is competing for the award against the agencies Ballantines PR and Ketchum.

The 50th Annual PRism Awards Show and Dinner will be held at the Taglyan Entertainment Complex on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Finalists will be awarded their PRism Awards, Awards of Excellence, and commemorate their 2015 Special Honorees.
