A' Design Award Launches New Global Advertising Campaign: 'Good Design Competition'

The advertising campaign highlights the common ground A’ Design Award shares with designers around the world on key design issues. The new advertising campaign also describes the actions the A’ Design Award takes for creating a global awareness for good design practices and principles.

The campaign includes about 120 print ads that each focus on a different theme that explains the value of design awards for designers, brands and the society. The design competition advertisements feature declarative statements about the design competitions. Each statement was written in a causal way that communicates the ideas to the audiences in a direct manner.
The A’ Design Award’s advertisements on Good Design Competitions cover themes such as: • Promotion of Good Design – Highlighting the importance of creating a public awareness and appreciation for good design. • Design for the World – Demonstrating why good design is required for a better, brighter future with a focus on creation of superior products and services that benefit society. • System Design – Describing the A’ Design Awards’ strong investment in creating a platform that brings designers, brands and press together. • Social Value – Showcasing the free and complimentary services the A’ Design Award provides to support small businesses and young designers worldwide. • Methodology – Showcasing the advanced technologies and design principles the A’ Design Award is investing in to make the design competition smarter, safer and more efficient. • Design Education – Communicating the A’ Design Award’s strong commitment to educate public on the real value of design.
Each ad include a statement from an A’ Design Award employee expressing their opinions about the design industry and design competitions. The new design advertising campaign was developed by OMC² Design Studios in Italy.
