Participants successfully made a move with more than 450 delegates of 71 countries to raise a fund of HUF 1.000.000 to a Hungarian foundation, Suhanj!, which enables children and adults with impaired eyesight and other physical or mental disabilities to participate in mass sports events. The active conferencing concept at the 2015 TAFISA World Congress included morning exercise opportunities, opting to walk instead of taking a car and sightseeing milestones, sports activities between sessions using special installations, such as spinner chairs at the conference venue, and using the pedometers provided to every delegate and guest by Coca-Cola Wake Your Body in their welcome package.
“The main theme of the 2015 TAFISA World Congress was “Sport for All – the Ultimate Legacy”, integrating physical activity into everyday life and leading by example to achieve life-long physical activity for everyone. This is very much in line with what the Coca-Cola ‘Wake Your Body’ program stands for, which is promoting regular physical activity as well as a balanced diet and informed choice.” said Eda G. Pogany, External Affairs Director at Coca-Cola HBC AG.
