All of the support we've generated at this event over the years has been amazing, I am proud to have been a part of it and look forward to continuing to help plan future fundraisers.
Woodbridge, NJ (PRWEB) October 30, 2015
On September 28, 2015, Integrated Industries / Integrated Equipment Sales sponsored the Greenwich Autism Alliance's Golf Outing and Fundraiser at Colonia County Club in Colonia, NJ.
The company took a break from providing quality steel shipping containers to the community to give back to those who need it the most. It's the ninth consecutive year that Integrated Industries / Integrated Equipment Sales has sponsored the event, dating back to the inaugural outing on Sept. 10, 2007.
The mission of the Greenwich Autism Alliance (GAA) is to promote autism awareness throughout the community, as well as to extend grants to teachers and families of children with autism.
The GAA donates 100% of net fundraising to schools, agencies, professionals, and families who provide support and services for individuals with autism. The outstanding organization has granted over $500,000 to date to those in need of support.
They donate to some of the greatest causes in the area, including Autism New Jersey (ANJ), Rutgers University DDDC (Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center), Autism of Delaware, NJ Daredevils, and multiple local school districts.
Just like the last eight years, this year's golf outing was organized by Maria Burns, Purchasing Manager for Integrated Industries. She says she couldn't be more happy with the turnout, and the company is already looking forward to next year.
"All of the support we've generated at this event over the years has been amazing, I am proud to have been a part of it and look forward to continuing to help plan future fundraisers," said Burns.
She added that the company always thinks that it will be impossible to beat the attendance and fundraising efforts of the previous year, but each year they're proven wrong. The 2015 golf outing drew over 200 guests, and Integrated Industries, Integrated Equipment Sales, and the Greenwich Autism Alliance are looking to build on those numbers in 2016.
