Billboard and SXSW to Keynote the International Music Festival Conference
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) October 30, 2015 -- As director of SXSW Interactive, Forrest brings together more than 30,000 digital creatives from across the United States and around the world. Forrest will be speaking on “Community and Connective Tissue for the Future of Festivals”. He will bring his lifelong festival experience and insight to help strengthen the festival community and ensure a brighter future.
With the launch of Billboard’s first festival, Hot 100 Music Festival, Amato has successfully brought Billboard into the festival space and increased Billboard’s live event footprint. Amato will bring his insight and knowledge on how he broke records and increased revenue and unique visits for both Billboard and Hollywood Reporter to the IMFCON-IFFS audience.
"I am thrilled to be a keynote speaker at this year’s IMFCON” says John Amato. “Not only do Billboard and the Hollywood Reporter play active roles in both the music and film festival industries respectively, but this past summer Billboard successfully launched the first ever Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival at Jones Beach in NY. I’m really looking forward to sharing my thoughts and experiences and hearing from other industry leaders.”
Attendees will benefit from the talent and wisdom of other executives, like Amato and Forrest, from organizations such as: Goldenvoice, Insomniac, SFX, AEG and more. To view the full agenda and array of topics and panelist, visit Imfcon.com.
