AFIA’s 2015 Equipment Manufacturers Conference to Feature Safety Label Presentation from Clarion Safety Systems
Milford, PA (PRWEB) November 02, 2015 -- Clarion Safety Systems, a leading designer and manufacturer of safety signs and safety labels, will be featured in the American Feed Industry Association’s (AFIA) November 2015 Equipment Manufacturer’s Conference.
AFIA is the world’s largest organization devoted exclusively to representing the business, legislative and regulatory interests of the U.S. animal feed industry and its suppliers. Its Equipment Manufacturers Conference is an educational event designed to address the many issues pertinent to today’s equipment designers, builders and installers who serve the feed, pet food and ingredient industries.
The 2015 conference will be held in St. Petersburg, Florida from November 5–7. At the event, Clarion’s director of sales and marketing, Angela Lambert, will be one of only a handful of industry leaders featured with a presentation.
“I’m looking forward to sharing information on effective safety labeling using ANSI Z535.4 and ISO 3864-2, as well as the benefits of the AFIA/Clarion safety label program,” says Lambert, who has over ten years of experience collaborating with equipment manufacturers small and large on their visual safety needs. She has also personally worked with customers on the AFIA/Clarion safety label program since its beginnings in 2008.
Clarion is an active member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards committees. The company’s CEO, Geoffrey Peckham, is chairman of the ANSI Z535 Committee for Safety Signs and Colors and of ANSI’s U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to the ISO standards committee responsible for safety signs, labels, colors and symbols (ISO/TC 145).
In addition, Clarion is a longstanding industry partner of AFIA. The organization utilized Clarion’s standards expertise, practical experience and industry leadership to create state-of-the-art safety labels for the feed industry beginning in 2008. The AFIA/Clarion label program gives AFIA members access to a catalog of labels designed specifically for their needs.
