Get Creative with Cranberries this Friendsgiving for a Chance to Win a $2,000 Dinner Party
Wareham, MA. (PRWEB) November 02, 2015 -- It’s no secret that cranberries are a staple at every family’s Thanksgiving dinner table. And, thanks to Friendsgiving – a millennial-driven trend all about celebrating Thanksgiving with your closest friends – now there’s another occasion to get creative with cranberry dishes, decor and drinks! In honor of this new American tradition, the Cranberry Marketing Committee, USA (CMC) is launching the Cranberry Friendsgiving Photo Contest encouraging consumers to post photos of their cranberry creations on social media with the hashtag #FriendsgivingCranberryContest and then upload them at CranberryFriendsgiving.com. One Grand Prize winner will receive $2,000 toward their next dinner party!
The CMC has teamed up with holiday décor and recipe specialists, Elsie Larson and Emma Chapman, co-founders of A Beautiful Mess, to offer tips and advice for a fun and festive Friendsgiving. The sister-duo share inspirational cranberry ideas – from drinks to dishes to décor – in a complete party planning checklist, at CranberryFriendsgiving.com.
“From good food to great company, our Friendsgiving celebration has become a tradition that we look forward to every year,” say Elsie and Emma. “And we can't have Friendsgiving without cranberries! Their versatility, along with their bright flavor and color help add a special flare to recipes, cocktails and decorations.”
“Elsie and Emma, like many millennials, truly enjoy a homemade lifestyle. We’re excited to partner with them to help bring imagination to our Cranberry Friendsgiving Photo Contest.” says Michelle Hogan, Executive Director of the Cranberry Marketing Committee, USA. “Cranberries add delicious flavor to any recipe, and a bold look to any décor, so we look forward to seeing how their versatility is presented in the entries.”
