It takes a team effort from our board of directors, our entire staff, our strong chapter system, our partners and our terrific, dedicated 390,000 members that never stop serving.

The political newspaper, The Hill, has named the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) one of the top lobbying associations in Washington, D.C., for the ninth consecutive year.
According to The Hill, “Those named to this year’s list, The Hill Top Lobbyists list have climbed to the top of their profession, demonstrating an ability to influence Washington’s power brokers on behalf of the interest groups, corporations and industries they represent."
The Hill particularly cited retired Navy Vice Adm. Norb Ryan, MOAA’s President. “The retired vice admiral spent the last year fighting to preserve U.S. troop pay and benefits against budget cuts, a cause he’ll continue to champion in upcoming fiscal fights,” The Hill stated.
“Once again MOAA proves to be very effective on the Hill defending the benefits of those who have sacrificed so much. We are extremely humbled and proud of our association to be recognized again by The Hill,” Ryan said. “It takes a team effort from our board of directors, our entire staff, our strong chapter system, our partners and our terrific, dedicated 390,000 members that never stop serving. Given the current budget and legislative environment, our advocacy will be more critical than ever. There is no segment of the American people more deserving of our advocacy than all of those who have answered the call to serve our nation and their families.”
