Downtown Frederick Partnership Promotes Frosty Friday to Attract Shoppers
Frederick, Maryland (PRWEB) November 04, 2015 -- For the thirteenth year, Downtown Frederick Partnership presents Frosty Friday on Friday, November 27th from 8am-9pm. Frosty Friday kicks off the holiday season with a full day of great shopping, fun events, live entertainment and plenty of holiday cheer!
› Enjoy extended shopping hours for many downtown shops and restaurants.
› Beans & Bagels, Brewer’s Alley, Café Nola, Crisafulli’s Cheese Shop, Frederick Coffee Co. & Café, Glory Doughnuts, Isabella’s, Magoo’s, North Market Pop Shop, Pretzel & Pizza Creations, and Serenity Tearoom will be open at 8am or earlier for early breakfast.
› The first 200 people to arrive to 30 N Market St between 9am—10am will receive the exclusive Downtown Doorbuster Deal Bag, filled with deals and steals from over 40 participating shops, plus a few extra surprises!
› Carolers and Holiday Music will entertain shoppers throughout the day on Market, Patrick, East & Carroll Streets, 9am-9pm (weather permitting). Musicians include Chris Gassaway, Cecilia Grace, the Catoctones, holiday bagpipes, the Frederick Children’s Chorus, Edward Barney and many more!
› Meet and take photos with Mustang Santa on the plaza in front of the Frederick County courthouse from noon—3pm. Come by to meet good ole Saint Nick and pose with his shiny red sleigh!
› Horse-Drawn Carriages Rides leave from 124 N Market Street (Brewer’s Alley). 10am-3pm, $10 per passenger. Pre-registration is recommended: frostyfriday2015.eventbrite.com
› Santa Claus arrives in Everedy Square and will visit children inside his workshop (I Made This, 10 N East St, #B) from 7-8:30pm.
› Earn a free Gift at the Snowflake Tree by purchasing items at more than one Downtown Frederick merchant or restaurant. Show your receipts totaling more than $100 combined at the Snowflake Tree and pick your present! While supplies last.
› Help Light Up Uptown with the first-ever tree lighting ceremony at the Seventh Street Fountain. Music, activities and hot cocoa start at 5pm, followed by the ceremony at 6pm.
› Enjoy Frosty & Frozen festivities at Everedy Square. Take part in a Frosty Frozen Sing-a-Long, featuring two very special princesses!
