CREW New York Hosted Professional Networking Event to a Sold Out Crowd at the Newly Remodeled Brookfield Place
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 31, 2015 -- On October 27, CREW New York, the largest organization for women in commercial real estate in New York City, hosted a tour, panel discussion and networking event at the newly remodeled Brookfield Place. With its 24/7 mixed-use community space, Brookfield Place (formerly World Financial Center), is transforming the lower Manhattan neighborhood into a sought-after destination for retailers, consumers and professionals.
“It is always a pleasure to give our CREW New York members an opportunity to shine and take pride in the great work they do,” said Jane Lyons, co-president of CREW New York and a managing partner at Rhodes Associates. “Our rich real estate network within CREW New York includes many talented individuals. We were thrilled to have Megan, Tara and Callie show us the incredible results of their efforts in helping to develop, design and map out Brookfield Place.”
CREW New York members and key representatives from Brookfield Place came together for this professional networking event with tours and a panel discussion from Megan Brothers, vice president of Design; Tara Goldstein, vice president of Marketing; and Callie Haines, vice president of Asset Management. The three vice presidents, who are also members of CREW New York, provided an exclusive look inside Brookfield Place and discussed the conceptualization, design and leasing process during a panel discussion and Q-and-A session. At the conclusion of the presentation, attendees were encouraged to network and mingle over cocktails and light appetizers.
Brookfield Place will bring a uniquely curated mix of luxury retailers, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Equinox Gym and Le District, a French-themed marketplace/restaurant complex. Nearly complete with 250,000 square feet of retail, Brookfield Place is almost fully leased out and has already earned its place as lower Manhattan’s premier retail destination.
Upcoming CREW New York events include a luncheon and networking event with Michael Fascitelli from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, at Club 101, 101 Park Avenue (40th Street at Park Ave). CREW New York Young Leaders Group’s Morning Motivation is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Thursday Nov. 5, at The Wells Fargo, Connections Level at 150 E 42nd Street (between Lexington & Third Ave).
