SwitchRay Launches Enhanced Version of its VoIP Class 4 and Class 5 Softswitch Solutions

This product upgrade includes spot-on reliability as well as revenue optimizing options for transit carriers and service providers.
The SR-S4000 Class 4 and SR-S5000 Class 5 Softswitches now fully support 64-bit OS to ensure that the full power of your hardware is being put to good use. Further enhancements have also been made to the SIP call balancer node with a new easy-to-use graphical user interface for performing configuration tasks. The new version also includes SIP over TCP support to improve reliability, and RFC 4028 support to keep the SIP session alive by sending periodic re-INVITE or UPDATE requests.
This latest version of SR-S4000 Class 4 Softswitch now offers full support for number portability whether on landline (Local Number Portability, LNP) or wireless networks (Mobile Number Portability, MNP). Reliability of SwitchRay’s companion Mayak Unified Communications (UC) client has been enhanced with push notifications which are now being sent through standard iOS (APN) and Android (GCM) channels.
