Noke’s U-Lock And Industrial Grade Padlock Named CES 2016 Innovation Awards Honorees
South Jordan, UT (PRWEB) November 11, 2015 -- Noke, leading maker of portable smart locks, announces it received a CES 2016 Innovation Award for both the Noke U-Lock and the Noke Industrial Grade Padlock. Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products.
The Noke U-Lock is a Bluetooth enabled smart bike lock that eliminates the hassle of keys and combinations by working in conjunction with the Noke app, downloaded onto the user’s smartphone or watch. The Noke Industrial Grade Padlock is made from hardened steel to provide the highest level of security. Both locks open via the Noke app, which allows users to share access to the locks with guests, and even view the lock’s history to know when, where and by whom the lock was used. The Noke Industrial Grade Padlock also gives enterprise-level control to businesses, allowing them to manage and deploy Noke locks in a wide variety of mission-critical applications.
“When developing the Noke locks, we thought businesses and bike-riders were going to love the added level of ease and control the Noke locks provide,” said David Gengler, Co-Founder and CEO of Noke. “It’s exciting to see others recognizing the benefits as well.”
The prestigious CES Innovation Awards are sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the producer of CES 2016, and have been recognizing achievements in product design and engineering since 1976.
Noke’s U-Lock and Industrial Grade Padlock will be displayed at CES 2016, which runs January 6-9, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Entries are evaluated on their engineering, aesthetic and design qualities, intended function and user value, how the design and innovation of the product directly compares to other products in the marketplace and unique/novel features present.
Products chosen as CES Innovation Honorees reflect innovative design and engineering in some of the most cutting edge tech products and services coming to market.
