Unified Power Strengthens Offering With LionHeart Acquisition
Terrell, Texas (PRWEB) November 03, 2015 -- UNIFIED POWER has taken yet another step in “unifying” the nation’s leading critical power service companies under a single brand with its acquisition this month of LionHeart’s UPS & Battery Division. The purchase further strengthens Unified Power’s position as the premier independent power services company in North America, bringing together advanced critical power services, sales and testing capabilities.
LionHeart’s Chicago-based UPS & Battery Division began in 2006 with the goal of redefining the standard for power system services throughout the Midwest. With a broad set of core competencies complemented by an exceptional customer focus, the company enabled data centers, healthcare facilities, telecom providers, wireless providers and facility managers to utilize a single service organization for all their mission-critical power system needs.
“For nearly a decade, LionHeart has exemplified the same approach that Unified Power is committed to, by delivering specialized services to critical assets with an emphasis on customer care,” said Chris Roach, President and CEO of Unified Power.
By incorporating LionHeart’s UPS & Battery Division, Unified Power will be uniquely positioned to better serve the firm’s power systems customer base, while freeing up LionHeart to focus on its core generator business.
“LionHeart has worked with more than 1,000 clients who not only trust not their demonstrated technical competency, but also appreciate the focus on providing the solutions and services that are in the best interest of the customer,” noted Robert Parrish, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Unified Power. “We look forward to continuing that partnership and commitment to excellence.”
The Unified Power brand began in January 2011 when Pfingsten Partners purchased On Computer Services, a national critical power service company located in Terrell, Texas. Under its various brands, Unified Power has provided thousands of companies across the nation with affordable and reliable critical power services for their UPS and battery systems for more than two decades. The strategy has been well received in the market place, catapulting Unified Power to continued double-digit growth while maintaining a world-class service quality rating from its clients. Currently providing services to more than 2,000 customers, the company is well capitalized and aggressively seeking to acquire additional customer-focused, critical power service companies who share its vision.
Other companies under the Unified Power brand include Baltimore-based Power Protection Unlimited, Sun Sales Company of Albuquerque, UPSCO of Glenmont, Ohio and Power Protection Services of Dallas.
