ShowClix, Inc. (http://www.showclix.com/ticketing) announced today that Brian Arnone has been named Chief Operating Officer. He joins ShowClix with nearly twenty years of executive experience leading Sales, Marketing, and Client Service teams for top event ticketing organizations. In his most recent role as SVP of Sales at Ticketfly, Brian built and managed a national sales team that drove the company’s tremendous growth in live music.
As COO, Arnone will help accelerate ShowClix’s growth as a recognized leader in the event technology space. “I couldn’t be more excited to be joining this team,” he comments. “We have the product and the people to help event organizers grow their businesses. Selling tickets is only the tip of the iceberg, and ShowClix gets that. The industry is going to be excited about the features and services we’ll be announcing.”
Along with Arnone’s appointment, ShowClix also announced that it has added Greg Topalian, Founder and President of LeftField Media, to its Board of Directors. Greg is most recognized for being the founder of New York Comic Con, which launched in 2006 and is now one of the largest conventions in the US. Other notable events in Greg’s portfolio included PAX, C2E2, UFC Fan Expo, and Star Wars Celebration.
Topalian’s newest venture, LeftField Media, creates events for passionate fans across many industries. In its first year LeftField launched Stream Con NYC for the online video industry and acquired events in the high-end audio and comic industries.
