Towson, MD (PRWEB) November 04, 2015 -- The Bergand group is proud to welcome Amy Waldron, Clinical Coordinator, to their Lutherville office. Amy Waldron brings over twenty years of experience working with clients diagnosed with substance abuse and mental health disorders. For the last seven years, Amy has been a clinical director with The Kolmac Clinic, one of the leaders of Intensive Outpatient Treatment in the Maryland/DC area. Amy is also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland and sees clients individually in a small private practice. She spent four years working on the adolescent inpatient unit at Sheppard Pratt Hospital, assisting young men and women with their substance use disorders while they were also receiving treatment for a mental health diagnoses. She began her career in Daytona Beach, FL with the Stewart-Marchman Center, where she treated adolescents in a long-term residential program after receiving her Master Degree in Psychology from La Salle University in Philadelphia. Amy was promoted to the director of the Adult Outpatient program, where she continued to treat clients while assisting to build the program into one of the leading outpatient treatment centers in Central Florida. After completing her venture at Stewart-Marchman, Amy was given the opportunity to further her clinical work in Key West, FL, where she continued to work with patients with co-occurring diagnoses in an outpatient setting at the Care Center for Mental Health.
The Bergand Group believes that experience matters and they utilize that experience to guide them in providing a high-touch, high-focus treatment program. Their collective experience in the medical and clinical fields allows them to tailor very specific treatment plans.
