The Knoxville community has a great number of talented financial professionals, and I am humbled to receive the award.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (PRWEB) November 03, 2015
The Knoxville chapter of Financial Executives International has named Cellular Sales CFO Pam Kimball a 2015 CFO of the Year recipient.
Kimball, who is responsible for strategic management of all financial and accounting functions at Cellular Sales, received the designation in the category for public or private companies with more than $100 million in annual revenue.
“It is such an honor to be recognized as the large business CFO of the Year,” Kimball said. “The Knoxville community has a great number of talented financial professionals, and I am humbled to receive the award.”
Since 2012, FEI has annually recognized the contributions of three financial executives, who are selected among scores of nominations by an independent panel of judges made up of business and community leaders.
Each honoree represents one of three categories: nonprofit or government organization, public or private companies with annual revenue between $10-100 million and public or private companies with revenue in excess of $100 million.
Kimball will be celebrated at an awards dinner on Nov. 19 from 6-9 p.m. at The Holiday Inn World’s Fair Park. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit HonorAir Knoxville, an organization dedicated to honoring East Tennessee World War II and Korean War veterans.
“We’re extremely proud of Pam for earning this distinction,” Cellular Sales CEO Dane Scism said. “She does a great job, and receiving this award is a sign of the quality of work and leadership she brings to Cellular Sales.”
