Maintenance Connection Completes 13th Annual User Group Meeting
Davis, CA (PRWEB) November 03, 2015 -- Maintenance Connection just held its annual user group training seminar, Checkpoint in Sacramento, CA. The computerized maintenance management software company (CMMS) has been holding user group meetings annually for the past thirteen years. The seminars provide expert guidance and training in order to help clients maximize their investment in and utilization of Maintenance Connection's CMMS platform. This year’s event welcomed over 250 users from around the world, ranging from new customers to longtime clients.
The Checkpoint user group meeting provided the opportunity for users to attend a wide variety of sessions, each pertaining to their specific use of the CMMS system. More than fifty sessions were offered, all with state-of-the-art interactive examples and of benefit to all levels of users. In addition to the training that took place inside the sessions, users had invaluable opportunities for personal interaction with the Maintenance Connection staff. Clients were given two opportunities to spend dedicated time with MC’s support staff. A “live support” area was conveniently set up throughout the duration of the event, giving users easy access to finding answers to questions about functionality and new features. Implementation experts were also on hand, giving clients the opportunity to discuss set up and best practice recommendations specific to their usage scenarios and needs.
The Checkpoint seminar provided the forum for Maintenance Connection to present two annual awards to its customers: “Client of the Year” and “User of the Year”. The Client of the Year award goes to the organization that utilizes the Maintenance Connection software to its fullest, partners with the team to in order to help make their projects successful, and actively seeks opportunities to expand and grow with Maintenance Connection. This year’s recipient for Client of the Year 2015 was presented to Tillamook County Creamery. Tillamook has been using Maintenance Connection since 2011. The User of the Year award is presented to a user who actively participates in the Maintenance Connection community, takes the time to become an expert at using the software, and provides regular feedback to help make Maintenance Connection better for fellow users. The 2015 User of the Year was presented to Sheri Adams, Program Specialist at for the City of Sacramento. Sheri has been using Maintenance Connection since 2008 and was the unanimous choice as recipient of this award.
In 2016, Maintenance Connection will hold the Checkpoint User Group Seminar on the East Coast. The 14th annual meeting will take place in Baltimore, MD. Registration for the event will be available in early 2016 at checkpoint.maintenanceconnection.com
