ARLINGTON, Va. (PRWEB) November 03, 2015 -- Intermedix Corporation announced Tuesday the grand opening of its new Arlington, Va. location.
The new facility will house the Intermedix Training Center serving emergency services organizations from around the world, and it will also provide legislative advocacy support for Intermedix clients.
“We are enthusiastic to expand our presence in Washington D.C.,” said Intermedix CEO Joel Portice. “Our proximity to the capital allows us to better serve our broad government client base and places our team in a strategic position to drive industry change and policy reform.”
Organizations seeking emergency management and preparedness education will have access to advanced training using the WebEOC incident management solution. The on-site emergency operations center facility will support training, exercises and simulations.
“The new facility will be an important hub for client engagement, advocacy and training efforts and will also serve as a local resource during emergencies and disasters,” said Intermedix Vice President of Emergency Management Gregg Lord, former Commissioner to the National Commission on Children and Disasters.
