Dr. Kevin Sadati Releases Tip Sheet on Facelift vs. Neck Lift: When A Full Facelift Is Too Much
(PRWEB) November 05, 2015 -- With over a decade of experience in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, board certified facial plastic surgeon Dr. Kevin Sadati of the Gallery of Cosmetic Surgery has a firm grasp of how to achieve the results desired by his patients. With some of the most prominent signs of aging appearing around the neck and face, many of his patients request full facelifts in order to tighten the skin around the lower area of the face and jaw. Dr. Sadati recently explained that while this procedure can be effective, many times a lower facelift and/or neck lift, a procedure much less extensive than a full facelift, is a better solution.
“There are a number of conditions that cause your lower facial and neck area to show signs of aging,” Dr. Sadati explains. “Sun damage, your age, weight changes, genetics these are just a handful of conditions that cause the skin in that area to become loose and saggy. Many patients come to me wanting full facelifts when they begin to notice these signs, but that is usually because they do not realize that neck lift or a lower facelift surgery is available and a far less invasive option that will yield the exact results they are looking for.”
Dr. Sadati states that in many of the cases he has seen, patients only require a neck lift or lower facelift and neck lift combination to achieve the results they are looking for. He went on to explain that a neck lift is a reliable and extremely safe cosmetic procedure that removes excess skin and fat deposits around the neck in order to provide the patient with a smoother and younger appearance. He also mentions that while there are some cases which require restructuring of some of the underlying muscle in the neck in order to provide a better foundation, most neck lifts require few incisions, which means patients can expect minimal scarring and a quicker recovery.
Overall, there is very little difference between a lower face lift and neck lift. In almost all cases lower face lifts are combined with neck lifts as they deal with many of the same areas. Dr. Sadati says that many men and women looking to tighten saggy skin around their face are really looking to fix problems like jowls under the jaw, excess fat in the neck area, “turkey neck,” skin damage or even a double chin. People looking to fix issues like these are perfect candidates for either a lower face lift and neck lift combo, or just a neck lift.
Using highly effective methods under twilight sedation and local anesthesia, Dr. Sadati has been able to provide patients with natural-looking full facelift, lower facelift and neck lift results for over a decade. As a board certified facial plastic surgeon with an artistic eye as a painter and sculptor, Dr. Sadati has been able to help countless men and women achieve beautiful, natural-looking results through a number of cosmetic surgery procedures available through the Gallery of Cosmetic Surgery.
