BlueInGreen Nominated for Global Cleantech Cluster Association Later Stage Award
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (PRWEB) November 04, 2015 -- The Global Cleantech Cluster Association (GCCA) has named BlueInGreen, LLC a Top 30 Finalist for the 2015 Later Stage Awards. The international competition is designed to recognize and promote mid- to late-stage companies positively impacting a variety of industries, including solar power, urban agriculture and water treatment.
Initially nominated as one of the 110 Phase I candidates by the Arkansas Cleantech Cluster Association, BlueInGreen was selected as a Top 30 Finalist for its past contributions and future potential within the water treatment industry. Founded by two University of Arkansas professors in 2004, BlueInGreen has expanded its core technology to include four flagship product lines: the SDOX® – for adaptable aeration, the CDOX® – for precise pH adjustment, the HyDOZ® – for dependable disinfection, and the SDOX-CS® – for optimized odor control. The SDOX, BlueInGreen’s first solution introduced to the market, won the WEFTEC Innovative Technology Award in 2010.
“To be mentioned alongside such exciting and accomplished cleantech companies is a tremendous honor in itself,” said BlueInGreen Senior Vice President Chris Milligan. “With the help of the GCCA’s global platform, we ultimately hope to promote BlueInGreen’s innovative solutions in order to improve and maintain our world’s water quality.”
The GCCA is a non-profit Swiss foundation, which hosts the annual Later Stage Awards to serve as a cooperative venue for cleantech companies seeking investors and corporate partners to drive sustainable regional economic development on a global scale. Each of the finalists’ qualifications will be assessed by the KeyStone Compact™ business risk rating methodology, with the Global Top 10 winners to be announced at the Green Summit in Taipei, Taiwan on November 10.
"The 2015 Global Top 30 Finalists demonstrate investment grade, strong product differentiation, scalable business models and have market traction," said Dr. Peter Adriaens, Head Judge of the GCCA Later Stage Awards. "The 2015 Global Top 30 are some of the world's most sought after and up-and-coming equity-investable cleantech companies across our member clusters."
The nomination adds to BlueInGreen’s growing momentum within the marketplace. Since January, the company has received an unprecedented amount of attention from potential clients, partners and investors alike. This increased demand is also reflected in its exponential growth in orders, sales and staff in recent months.
“2015 has truly been a landmark year for BlueInGreen,” said President John Kucharik. “However, anyone familiar with our groundbreaking technologies, cost-effective solutions and unique applications knows this is just the beginning of something special – something BIG.”
