Proove Biosciences Launches New Test Report for Proove Drug Metabolism Genetic Profile
Irvine, CA (PRWEB) November 04, 2015 -- Proove Biosciences, a commercial and research leader in Personalized Medicine, is excited to announce the launch of their new and improved Proove Drug Metabolism™ Genetic Profile. The updated test result has been reformatted to enable quicker and more user-friendly informed treatment and dosing decision-making, thus reducing the likelihood of therapeutic ineffectiveness or adverse drug events.
“The new result has been revised based upon feedback from our customers,” said Dr. Svetlana Kantorovich, Director of Clinical Affairs at Proove Biosciences. “Physicians frequently have very little time to make very important treatment decisions. We re-designed the Proove Drug Metabolism™ test report with their time frames in mind.”
The Proove Drug Metabolism™ Genetic Profile now offers information about which medications should be prescribed normally, with caution, or with extreme caution, based on a genetic analysis of enzymes responsible for metabolizing medications. The updated result consists of three sections: a summary page providing a quick reference for all medications, a section containing a detailed description of each medication result, and a report of the metabolizing enzymes, classifying each as having accelerated, normal, compromised, or deficient activity. The report is based on published manuscripts and guidelines from professional consortiums and expert panels.
The updated Proove Drug Metabolism™ Test Result is available as of November 2, 2015.
