Fingado is currently a member of the HealthcareSource Board of Directors and has recently been an operating partner at Francisco Partners, which acquired HealthcareSource in May 2015. Current president and CEO Peter Segall has decided to step down from his role after seven years of successfully leading the company's growth.

J.P. Fingado has spent twenty-five years helping healthcare providers improve operations and quality of care. Before becoming operating partner at Francisco Partners, he was president and chief executive officer of API Healthcare, a workforce management software provider, which was sold to GE Healthcare in 2014. He previously held leadership roles with Cerner Corporation and Dynamic Healthcare Technologies. Fingado received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.
