SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) November 05, 2015
The API Strategy & Practice Conference (APIStrat) has added additional keynote speakers to the November 18-20, 2015 event in Austin, Texas including Rion Dooley of the Texas Advanced Computing Center and Teresa Tung from Accenture Technology Labs' Next Generation Software Architecture R&D group. They join an impressive lineup of speakers from around the globe that will converge at Austin to talk about the latest best practices, and emerging trends and strategies in the API economy.
“We are really excited to be bringing such a strong program to one of the most innovative and fastest-growing tech cities in the country, with an exciting and forward-thinking program in place,” said Mark Boyd, Program Chair API Strategy & Practice, co-organized by 3scale and API Evangelist. “Rion is right at the cusp of how APIs are influencing the dynamic field of supercomputing, and Teresa is well-known across enterprise settings for her influential work on an industrial API model.”
The new keynotes join an energetic lineup of speakers, session presenters, workshop facilitators and podcasters that make up the three-day event program. Other speakers include enterprise thought leader Dion Hinchcliffe, Built.io CEO Neha Sampat, IBM Watson leaders Ashley Hathaway and Elliot Turner and the Traffic and Weather Podcast team. Track sessions each contain four speakers and panels on key API trends including API design, definitions, realtime event processing, marketing, business models and the Internet of Things.
“Austin, Texas is one of the most exciting places for tech in the country right now, and we are eager to share ideas from some of the best thinkers and actors in the API economy with such an engaged local community that also includes some of the fastest growing API-enabled businesses in the world. We are also proud to see so many of the industry’s vendors join us for the conference and want to share their products and services with our community.”
Sponsors include industry solutions 3scale, IBM, Clarify, Dell, Red Hat, Akana, Microsoft, Mulesoft, Verizon and NGINX; API open source projects Swagger and RAML; API providers Walgreens, Twitter and Klout; and API tools SmartBear, Cloud-Elements, Runscope, JustAPIs, Iron.io, Pusher, Apiary and Form.io.
