New Xulon Fiction: Powerful Story Of Trust, Guilt And Innocence
Vandervoort, AR (PRWEB) November 06, 2015 -- Within the pages of J. W. Watkins’s new book, Guilty Of Innocence, ($15.99, paperback, 9781498454360) readers will follow Dawn Carpenter as she decides to disobey her husband’s orders and take her camera and dog into the woods to photograph wildlife. Her decision will completely change her life. Dawn stumbles across a wounded man who needs her help. While trying to help him, his enemies become hers. Shot and left for dead, she wakes up in the hospital to find that her life and reputation have been ruined. No one believes her story, including her husband. Not knowing whom to trust, she embarks on a quest to find the truth.
“I wrote this book with the specific aim of giving encouragement to women who are in abusive marriages,” states the author. “Although the book is fiction, a lot of the details are painfully personal. The message is: no matter what the problem, God is the answer.”
J. W. Watkins was born in the small community of King, Arkansas. She is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She believes that writing is God’s purpose for her life. Living on the farm and in the house in which she grew up, she spends her days writing, reading, painting, playing music, and enjoying her Southern Baptist church and her rapidly-expanding family. In her 74 years on this earth, her life has been composed of a wide variety of experiences. She came close to death several times, and each experience has brought her closer to God. She has been a Christian for 61 years, and her entire reason for writing is to put forth the message of Jesus Christ. She has read the Bible more than 50 times and knows for a fact that every word is true.
