Mayor Duggan Helps Kick Off Construction of $45 Million Residential Project
Detroit, MI (PRWEB) November 06, 2015 -- Today, dignitaries from around the area gathered for a groundbreaking ceremony in historic Lafayette Park with long-time Detroit developer Walter Cohen, business leaders, and elected officials. The ceremony marked the start of construction on DuCharme Place, a 185-unit apartment community that will be the area’s first new lifestyle community in 40 years. DuCharme’s floor plans, renderings and blueprints were revealed at the event.
Located at 1544 E. Lafayette in Lafayette Park, DuCharme Place is just east of the iconic 1300 East Lafayette tower and the Mies van der Rohe residential district.
