Eleven Newest Fellows Honored by APSP in Las Vegas

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) welcomed its fourth cadre to its Fellows Program during a reception November 9 at the 2015 Pool|Spa|Patio Expo in Las Vegas.

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) welcomed its fourth cadre to its Fellows Program during a reception November 9 at the 2015 Pool|Spa|Patio Expo in Las Vegas.

The newest Fellows include: Lew Akins, CBP, Ocean Quest Pools by Lew Akins; Kyle Chaikin, CBP, CSP, Ultimate Pool Care; Frank H. Goldstein, CBP, CSP, Chesapeake Aquatic Consultants; Steven Gorlin, CBP, CSP, Gorlin Pools and Spas; John Lochren, Solar Pool Enclosures of New York; Jack Manilla, CBP, CSP, Portofino Pools; John Migliaccio, CBP, The Pool & Spa Place; Michael Miller, CSP, Miller Pools; Jeff Mitchell, CBP, Dynasty Pools; Jerry Pasley, Bullfrog International; John Romano, CBP, CSP, All American Custom Pools & Spas.

“Our industry is happy to recognize the newest Fellows for their selfless contributions to the pool, spa and hot tub industry. Our Fellows represent a commitment to excellence and success in the industry. Their contributions are immeasurable,” APSP President and CEO Rich Gottwald said.

APSP established the Fellows program in November 2012. The peer-nominated honor was developed by the APSP Board of Directors to recognize leaders whose contributions have enhanced the professionalism of the pool, spa and hot tub industry through teaching, research and/or exemplary service to others.

Each year, APSP honors individuals as Fellows. These individuals may be nominated from any segment of the industry and may be honored posthumously.
