The Tradition-Prestonwood Opens Assisted Living/Memory Care Building
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) November 10, 2015 -- The Tradition-Prestonwood, a high-end rental senior living community, has opened a four-story assisted living and memory care building that is an expansion of its existing independent living community. The new construction is situated on 2.81 acres at 5555 Arapaho Road, which is catty-cornered from the original community located at 15250 Prestonwood Blvd. and Arapaho. The new building comprises 75 assisted living and 38 memory care apartments, totaling 138,000 square feet of construction. With this project, Tradition Senior Living, LP, (TSL) currently has constructed independent living, assisted living and memory care units totaling 639 units. The announcement was made by Jonathan Perlman, Founder and CEO of Tradition Senior Living, LP, which has developed, built, marketed and managed the project.
“We have already had a wonderful response to this new assisted living and memory care community – an expansion of our existing independent living community on Prestonwood,” said Perlman. “This means that we can now provide a true continuum of care.”
Services and Amenities
The new building is totally in keeping with the original Tradition-Prestonwood community, which is known for its beautiful, light-filled interiors and landscaped courtyards. Paramount throughout the new assisted living and memory care community is state-of-the-art technology for safety, health and medication management systems. The apartments in the assisted living and memory care community are unusually spacious, with details similar to those of the apartments in the independent living community.
Additional TSL Communities
Also recently opened by TSL is The Tradition-Lovers Lane, a senior living rental community providing independent living, assisted living and memory care. Situated at 5850 East Lovers Lane next door to Central Market, the 7.5-acre community includes a 202-unit independent living building at the corner of Matilda and Milton and a 109-unit assisted living/memory care property next door, fronting Milton.
The Tradition-Prestonwood, TSL’s first independent living community, was built in 2010 with 215 units.
