PeopleKeys and The Institute for Motivational Living Congratulates Lifeskills Resources for Hosting Singapore DISC Alumni Event
Boardman, Ohio (PRWEB) November 08, 2015 -- PeopleKeys and The Institute for Motivational Living congratulates Lifeskills Resources, their chief distributor in Asia, on the successful completion of their first DISC Alumni Event. The DISC Alumni Event took place on July 2 in Singapore at the Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel, and provided a unique opportunity for graduates of their DISC Certified Behavioral Consultant training program to build relationships, share information, and learn new techniques to ensure the growth and success of their consulting and coaching practices.
Event organizer Ian Tan said, “We’ve seen unprecedented growth in the number of Certified DISC Behavioral Consultants receiving their training and starting new consulting businesses in Asia. The DISC Alumni Event is special because it is designed for behavioral consultants, with content generated by behavioral consultants themselves. This gives a chance for professionals trained in DISC to share first-hand accounts of how they have innovatively used PeopleKeys DISC tools to make positive impact on their clients. Our invited guests walked away with field-tested ideas on how they can help people and organizations unlock and develop their potential in the areas of talent management, leadership, team building, career development, and personal effectiveness.”
Mr. Tan is a Master Accreditor of the PeopleKeys DISC Personality System, and a Master Behavioral Consultant for PeopleKeys’ sister company, The Institute of Motivational Living. In his work with Lifeskills, he has accredited over 300 Certified Behavioral Consultants from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, China, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Australia in the use of personality profiling tools. To date, Tan and Lifeskills have trained more than 250,000 people in over 150 organizations in DISC theory and DISC behavioral analysis.
PeopleKeys founder and CEO Dr. Sandy Kulkin said, “In our 30-plus year relationship with Lifeskills, Ian has been a tremendous asset. He has worked tirelessly to help make Asia a dynamic force in the field of DISC personality analysis. Through his direction, Lifeskills is building a strong network of DISC consultants throughout Asia, helping countless people understand the strengths in their personality and how to apply those strengths to make their life’s work meaningful. We applaud Lifeskills for the success of the DISC Alumni Event in Singapore, and look forward to many more in the future.”

About DISC
DISC is a personality profiling system which serves as a method for understanding behavior, temperament, and personality. With behavioral analysis tools such as the DISC Profile, it is possible to gain a comprehensive overview of the way that individuals think, act, and interact. Dr. William Moulton Marston, a contemporary of Carl Jung, developed the DISC Personality Profile after studying the personality traits, behavioral patterns, and instinctual reactions of thousands of individuals. DISC is the most widely used profiling tool of its kind, and is supported by decades of validation and reliability studies.
