Qmatic Expands Global Reach with Acquisition of German Market Leader

Qmatic is expanding its reach into additional markets with the acquisition of NetCallUp, a technology firm based in Germany that specializes in innovative virtual line management and cloud scheduling software for government organizations.

Qmatic Group announced that it has acquired Germany-based NetCallUp, a firm with over 800 installations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxembourg that focuses primarily on increasing customer satisfaction and improving organizational efficiency for government organizations.

“NetCallUp is an extremely accomplished company with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. We see significant opportunities for continued growth in the government sector, and with the combined strength of NetCallUp and Qmatic, we also intend to invest in healthcare, banking and retail in the DASH region,” said Michael Hallén, CEO, Qmatic Group.

With this acquisition Qmatic now owns 100% of the shares in NetCallUp Software GmbH. NetCallUp was founded by entrepreneur Thomas Föcking as a side project to his university studies in 2004. Since then Föcking and his team have helped hundreds of organizations satisfy customers with the company’s cloud-based booking system and virtual line management solutions.
