Customers of Hidrex USA Now Have Flexible Consumer Financing Plan for Iontophoresis Products
Sugar Land, TX (PRWEB) November 09, 2015 -- Hidrex USA began offering a flexible financing option through PayPal Credit starting on October 1, 2015. Although iontophoresis is one of the most affordable and successful ways of treating hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), Hidrex USA recognized that it is difficult for many potential customers to purchase a machine due to its upfront $900+ cost.
The new financing option will allow customers to purchase their iontophoresis machine, and pay smaller monthly payments, rather than the entire cost upfront. The current promotion by PayPal Credit offers six months with no interest.
Hidrex USA is also exploring other ways to help customers gain access to their medically necessary devices. Insurance companies should cover the purchase of the cost-effective products if the insured meets the criteria and needs the device. Hidrex USA is seeking durable medical equipment dealers that have existing regional insurance contracts that are willing to provide the iontophoresis machines under insurance coverage. The company is also considering working directly with insurance companies, which may take a longer time to implement due to the process of becoming contracted with them, according to Chris Ligi, Director of Sales at Hidrex USA.
There are several different ways to treat hyperhidrosis, although many people find that iontophoresis is the best option because it presents virtually no side effects or serious risks, requires no downtime or healing phase, and can treat excessive sweating on any part of the body. Other treatment options include prescription antiperspirants (which can only treat sweating under the arms), prescription medications (which dry up skin across the entire body), botox injections, and surgery.
“If there’s one thing I can communicate to hyperhidrosis sufferers, it is to be aware of the high risks associated with surgery for this condition,” said Ligi. “I hear from so many people that now have to treat other areas of their body post-surgery, which are even harder to treat. This is called compensatory sweating, and there is a very high chance that this side effect will occur after ETS surgery. I wish they would try iontophoresis, even if it's a competitor's product, before they elect for an invasive surgery for hyperhidrosis.”
“Hidrex USA customers have had incredible success with our iontophoresis machines; to date, we have not had one return due to the treatment not working. Our long-term goal is to have insurance carriers cover this highly-effective and cost-efficient treatment option. In the meantime, however, we are offering consumer financing plans to help hyperhidrosis sufferers who are not able to afford the initial cost of an iontophoresis device.”
