Product News - Announces MultiConnect® Dragonfly™
MultiConnect®Dragonfly™ -Cellular System-on-Module (SoM) is an Embedded System-on-Module (SoM) compatible with the ARM® mbed™ platform. Industry-certified, MultiConnect Dragonfly drastically shortens time to market for products requiring cellular connectivity. The MultiConnect Dragonfly is up and running today in booth #738 and will be available to purchase in December for deliveries in first quarter 2016.

Internet Café
Live demonstrations of MultiTech’s newest IoT technologies will model a connected coffee machine. Demonstration highlights possibilities with data trending, maintenance issues and monitoring equipment through the use of a Keurig coffee maker and the newly announced MultiConnect Dragonfly.
Smart City
The automatic onset of a fan, prompted by variances in temperature will be showcased in a Smart City demonstration. The demonstration highlights the unique ability of the MultiConnect® Conduit™ - Programmable Gateway to manage MultiConnect® mDot™ - Long Range RF Modules connected to sensors and transmit their data between intelligent, mbed-enabled end points using LoRaWANTM connectivity as well as over any cellular network to a customer's preferred data management platform.
Presentation and Panel Participation
Derek Wallace, Manager of Product Management at MultiTech will join a panel at the pre-show mbed Connect conference Monday, November 9th to discuss how the ARM mbed ecosystem brings all the pieces together to deliver intelligent connected solutions.
In “Improving Business Agility with ARM mbed for Connected Devices,” Wallace will discuss how to leverage ARM mbed on connected devices across multiple connectivity technologies in order to enable a smart, value-laden, industrial IoT solution. This presentation will take place on Wed., November 11 at 3:30pm – 4:00pm in the Expo Theater.
